Stellers Sea Eagle - Kamchatka 2019
Every once in a while, you can get lucky as a photographer. On our summer trip circumnavigating the Bering Sea in 2019 on the National Geographic/Lindblad Expeditions Orion, we stopped at the Zhupanova River in Kamchatka Krai Russia. Our particular zodiac happened to see the Stellers Sea Eagle take off circle and land near its nest where it had two fledglings. This is the most magnificent animal I've ever photographed. I am humbled by the opportunity.
